Marshfield Education Foundation

← Back to My Work

The Marshfield Education Foundation is a charity close to my heart. Its mission is simple and powerful: to provide seed funding for innovative grants submitted by teachers in the Marshfield Public Schools, bringing fresh ideas and meaningful learning experiences into local classrooms.

I had the privilege of designing and building the MEF website to reflect that energy and purpose. The goal was clarity and warmth, creating a digital space where donors, teachers, and community members could easily understand the impact of every contribution. The site was crafted to feel hopeful, active, and deeply connected to the students it ultimately serves.

Today, I continue to maintain the website, regularly updating the news, sponsor pages, and the “Grants in Action” section. Each update highlights tangible outcomes in classrooms across the district and reinforces the Foundation’s ongoing investment in teaching excellence and student opportunity.

In addition to maintaining the website, I have also created social media content that brings the Foundation’s impact to life. Through thoughtful Instagram posts, graduating seniors share their gratitude to the Marshfield Education Foundation, reflecting on the grants that shaped their academic journeys. These posts give voice to the students themselves, transforming funding into faces, stories, and heartfelt thanks. It is a meaningful way to close the loop, showing donors and the community exactly how their support echoes far beyond the classroom.

Beyond the website and social media, I continue to support the Marshfield Education Foundation with ongoing graphic design needs on an ongoing basis. From event materials and promotional graphics to sponsor recognition pieces and digital assets, I provide creative support wherever it is needed. My role has evolved into that of a trusted visual partner, helping ensure the Foundation’s communications remain polished, cohesive, and aligned with its mission.

I also have done the logos for many years and redesigned the website for the Marshfield St. Patrick's Day 5K, an annual race that benefits the Marshfield Education Foundation. Although the event supports the Foundation, it required its own standalone website, as a separate committee plans and manages the race each year.

The project called for a thoughtful balance. The site needed to feel connected to MEF, incorporating a similar color palette as a visual nod to the Foundation. At the same time, it had to embrace the energy and spirit of St. Patrick’s Day, with Irish-inspired elements that made the event feel festive and distinct.

Because many sponsors support both the Foundation and the 5K, sponsor logos must be maintained consistently across both websites. Managing that overlap requires ongoing coordination and careful updates to ensure accuracy and alignment on each platform.
