ABOUT ME
My career has always balanced design and technical precision. I studied art for my undergrad degree at the University of Massachusetts and earned my master's degree in Information Systems in the department of Industrial Engineering from Northeastern University, a combination that shapes how I work. I care deeply about aesthetics, but I also think in structure, process, and performance.
Out of grad school, I began as a programmer for the The Providence Journal website, Projo.com, building from the back end and gaining a strong technical foundation. I later moved into the Interactive Department at RDW Group in Providence, where I focused on digital strategy and design in an agency environment.
After several years, I launched my own freelance web design business. During that time, I also served as Associate Director and webmaster for the Massachusetts Nurses Association, managing large-scale web initiatives and digital communications. As my family grew, I made a conscious decision to return to freelancing full-time, building a business that allows me to do high-level work while staying present at home. During that transition, I began consulting as a designer for Human Service Solutions, the company that built and maintains the back-end systems for the MNA website—work I continue alongside my freelance projects.
In addition to that consulting, I create logos that communicate clearly and confidently. I design and develop websites that are both visually strong and technically sound. I design print materials that give businesses a cohesive, professional presence. Every project benefits from both sides of my background: creative instinct and engineering discipline.
I also dedicate time to pro bono work for local organizations I care about. Good design isn’t just about business; it strengthens communities.
If you’re looking for smart, strategic design that works as hard as you do, let’s get started.
