Theater Plus! was founded by a sixth grade English teacher who grew up in town and never lost her love for the stage. With a background in theater, Stacy created a program for students from Pre-K through high school to grow their acting, singing, dancing, and improvisational skills while building confidence, social connection, and a strong sense of self.
When she came to me for her very first logo, it needed to carry all of that energy in a single glance. At the time, her tagline was “Puts your child in the spotlight,” so the concept centered on celebration and visibility. It had to be playful without feeling chaotic, colorful while remaining clear, and naturally, it had to feature her favorite color purple. The final design felt like a curtain rising. Bold, joyful, and ready for applause, it gave Theater Plus! a visual identity that truly reflected its mission.
I also redesigned the website to support her expanding programs. The updated layout clearly highlighted after-school offerings, summer programs, staff bios, and important information for parents, all organized in a way that feels welcoming and easy to navigate. The goal was to create a site that felt as polished as a well-rehearsed performance while still capturing the energy and enthusiasm that define Theater Plus!
