When I first began working with JPH at Ferry Hill, they were simply Ferry Hill Center, a small but determined organization with a very big promise: make mental health care accessible to everyone. Over the years, as their mission expanded, so did my role. What started as a logo project evolved into a long standing creative partnership rooted in a shared belief that access to care should never depend on circumstance.
I designed Ferry Hill’s original logo, helping to shape the visual foundation of the organization in its earliest days. As the brand evolved into JPH at Ferry Hill, I explored logo variations that supported that growth, contributing to the visual direction as the organization refined its identity. Watching that evolution has been a little like seeing a sapling become a canopy. The roots were always strong. The branches simply kept reaching further.
Today, my work spans far beyond a single design or campaign. I support their event marketing efforts, designing digital banners and promotional graphics that help bring energy and cohesion to each initiative. From fundraising dinners to community awareness events, every piece is crafted to feel aligned with their mission and recognizable to their audience.
I design their Constant Contact email campaigns, shaping announcements that feel clear, warm, and action oriented. These emails serve as an important bridge between the organization and its supporters, translating the urgency and heart of their work into messages that inspire people to show up, participate, and give.
For their annual fundraising dinners, I’ve created event logos, postcards, flyers, and other print materials that capture both the spirit of the evening and the purpose behind it. These events are more than gatherings. They are lifelines. The design has to carry that weight while still feeling welcoming and celebratory.
I also maintain their website, ensuring it stays current, functional, and reflective of their ongoing work. While I did not originally design the site, I steward its visual consistency and messaging so that every touchpoint feels connected to the larger story.
Working with JPH at Ferry Hill has meant wearing many creative hats over the years, from brand development to event marketing to ongoing communications support. More than anything, it has meant partnering with an organization that is deeply committed to equity in mental health care. My role is to help their message travel clearly and consistently, so that the people who need support most know it is there.
